And reparations are such a rubbish idea. Why blame me for something my ancestor might've done? Not all white folk earned slaves. How will someone prove my family did? And how do you put a price tag on all that? Does a black chap descended from mostly house slaves get as much as the dude with only field hands in his woodpile?
It's also rather appalling that people could even begin to assign some cash value to "make up" for something as immoral as slavery. Only a fucking lazy git would think of such a thing.
It'd be amusing if some group of slave owners' progeny started demanding back payment from black folk. It's insane, but based on Reparationist logic, didn't slaves eat? Weren't they housed and clothed? Some were educated. All of those things require time, effort and money. So, Detronote and Shishquida, where are the Ducats *you* owe?
