Sound levels rollercoasting, soundtracks restarting well into the performance...

I'd like to ask the competitors how it feels to step on stage after several of months of dieting and preparing and having their performance fcuked up...

Yeah I caught that and was why it was stopped immediately. At checkin all competitors are told several times not to have profanity in their music, most entry forms have mention of it as well. The competitor can be disqualified for having profanity in their music. Most of the time the music isn't screened before hand mainly due to the number of competitors having music. The sound guys are independent contractors who listen for it to be cued up ahead of time and 1/2 the time they struggle with that. I have yet to see a sound guy that didn't screw up during a show.

Why the moral panic all of a sudden?

I doubt that a 13 year old will become less of an upstanding model citizen from being "protected" from foul language.

In fact, I would be very interested in hearing how foul language in music is proven to have any MAJOR influence on a persons character (weed, don't steer this off topic by posting pics of 240 playing bass

).
