You would think the NPC/IFBB would put on a better show, knowing that the PDI is coming. A lot of people are seeing amateur hour tonight.

Compared to the other webcast shows-

The lighting is weak
The sound qaulity if poor
The announcing is awkward and uninteresting
The background is cluttered
Too much transition time between guys.
The stage looks dirty and/or poorly polished. Either have a great shine, or no shine. But this dull mix is sad.

I think 240 supplied the reefer to the sound guy and is behind botching Bob's music. Most sound guys have their heads up their asses come show time. They say everything is fine and all good but then they geek out come show time.

Soundtracks are supplied by the competitors at checkin, some may be good quality and others horrible. Hence the quality and variation in levels.

Here's an idea to make it possible: Have all competitors to send their CD's in at least 1 week before competition, giving the sound guy a legit shot of checking it, or possibly putting all the soundtracks on a harddrive.

If they don't get their soundtracks in on time, they get to pose to random music.

Rehersal is a good idea but usually not feasible. Simply because you can't get into the venue until the morning of the show and many times you have no idea how many competitors you will have until the night before. Signups/checkin usually happens the night before the show and competitors are often allowed to pay a higher entry fee and sign up then.

Regarding the MC'n - hey not everyone can be Lonnie Tepper.
