Breakdown for Bodybuilding Success
« on: February 23, 2019, 11:41:05 AM »
I was rethinking my percentages to succeed at bodybuilding. I underestimated "genetic response to drugs." Therefore:

Genetic response to drugs: 75%
Drug use: 20%
Training: 2.5%
Diet: 2.5%

The reason I put genetics so high is because you could take all the PEDs you want, but without good genetics, results won't be top tier, like King Ronnie!!

What you, getbig?!?!

2 items most bbers don't have

being patient
posing/stage presence

it is all a compound effect starting with genetics -

a kid has good genetics and sees results, so he trains more, takes more time to focus on his diet, he spends more time in the weight room then the baseball field, then he hangs out with other bbers,

his discretionary  income/time go to bbing, causing more and more gains , he then competes, gets recognition... puts more time and money into the sport. buys more supplments.

it is the classic 10,000 hour rule from the book "Outliers" by Malcolm gladwell.

compound effect but it starts with good genetics  - responds fast and goes more and more into the bbing year after year

Big difference between the 15 guys to place in the Mr Olympia vs the average joe in the NPC.

You want to be on the IFBB stage? That's going to be where your genetics matter.

But you want to be joe blow "bodybuilder"? Flip the ratios because now it's basically "all drugs". You can have shit genetics, eat like shit, and rest like shit, but if you train like shit and take enough of the right drugs, you'll look like a bodybuilder.

It’s not trolling.

Look at all the bodybuilders who stop drugs, but still train. They lose like 95% of their “muscle.”

Competitive bodybuilding is chemical warfare.

Quit lying.

I’m not taking about your every day lifter.

IFBB pros are all drugs. How can’t you see this?

Look at Paul Dillet, Tom Prince, etc. They are twigs now.

Professional bodybuilding is a chemical warfare.

Do you think they always train hard like they do in their videos? Most of them are lazy lifters.

Quit lying.

So you don’t believe drugs are one, if not the most important aspect in building a physique after genetics?

You should experiment on yourself, train and compete at 100 percent natural and see how you look

Do the whole dieting and training to a point without any drugs, zero, nothing

If bbers admit to this, it takes away from the “mystique” in what is achievable and what is not  :D

We’ve gone over this and I’m not going I rehash it but I will say this, no matter where I train, Golds included, very few train (pros included) with hardly any intensity and it’s sad.

And you’re the only one in this thread (and others like it) that actually get it. Why? Because you’ve actually been there.
