It used to be an "eh..whatever" thing here too, but things just have gotten out of hand. They left got their way with having a black president......he sucked......,but they feel like every president in the future should represent their skewed thinking and also be a minority/gay. Give an inch.....
The other issue as it pertains to that and this site is that there's not much happening with the sport now. Piana and McGarver were good material.......and then they died. Entertainment, controversy, and the "heir apparent" to the O title all went away with them. Heath finally lost the title, but no one is overwhelmingly impressed by Rhoden and he's old, so his reign will be short no matter what this year's result.
Maybe someone will show up to the AC, and blow all our minds to get excited about the sport again? There really hasn't been anyone that's come out of nowhere since Flex, Dorian, Levrone, and Francois where they turned pro and started killing it right away, and they were pretty close together.
