There were 3 transfers listed for each of them totalling $450k or so to buy cars and houses.

So basically the business hardly made any money?

I think there are just things missed/not included in the indictment. Both of them were living very high off the hog when Blackstone was first starting. Multiple exotic car rentals, mini vacations. PJ would brag about custom made suits (He has pretty good taste in that department). Plus lots of women.
