CNN is now reporting the Muller had sent a letter expressing his dissatisfaction with Barr’s overview of the report saying he mischaracterized the tone of the reports content and indicated the he and his team had written summaries for media consumption. Also, the Democrats are saying if Barr doesn’t show up on Thursday the are open to arresting him and having him jailed.

I personally wonder if Barr could be disbarred for failing to appear ( once a subpoena is issued.)

It’s not like he disputed Barr’s findings in the report. Still no collusion or obstruction. The only ones disputing it is the left. Not Mueller not Barr. More grandstanding by the left.

I’m missing something here . . . Barr’s findings? Are you referring to his interpretation of the reports content? Muller himself sent Barr a letter saying he was not being candid in his commentary. As a Canadian I can only speak in broad stroke terms about your politics, but I’d be cautious. Muller was ask to investigate not prosecute or defend a situation and he did so in a fair and unbiased manner - he called it straight down the Centre. There was a lot of information passed to SDNY and state prosecutors in other states. We really are only seeing the next step in this process.

One important question remains - Why is Trump fighting financial disclosure so aggressively? I was reading last night and one investor who had seen summaries of Trumps taxes for a period of several years has said Trump is not even a billionaire - his life is financed on debt. Personally I’d fly in a private jet if someone would lend me the money to do so and then lend me money to pay the travel bills and lend me money to . . .

Come on, I'm up for a good debate, but Trump is a fucken scumbag. Fuck he threatened to sue schools over the release of his marks, has told WH staff not to appear before congress, etc.

Trump isn’t going anywhere as a matter of fact this entire fiasco will backfire on the left big time. There isn’t a dem or republican that can even come close to the good he’s done for this country thus far. You put a dem in and you will literally ruin this country. The only thing right now that’s keeping us from full blown socialism is Trump. I don’t think that’s what you want but people like Valentino and Prudence look forward to it.

Trump has every right to fight back against his critics. Any other person in there would have rolled over and given up. The political left still underestimate him.
