Horse was out in front and had the rail lane all to himself. Felt the pressure coming on the outside and swung wide blocking one horse and pushing 2-3 others very wide. Good call just not for those who bet the favorite.

I didn’t like this decision for a number of reasons. While the disqualified horse did bear out, it was a sloppy track, and a big field. He didn’t finish first by a nose. He won by close to two lengths and was obviously much the best. The horse that was placed first wasn’t even the one that was interfered with the most and he didn’t gain an inch on the disqualified horse during the entire stretch.

When you do shit like that, you make the races meaningless. Why cheer and get all excited when even if your horse finishes first he might get taken down?

There’s no pay out until the race is official. The people who tore up their tickets are fucked.  That’s their own fault. You shouldn’t throw away your ticket until the race is official. Although, it’s a pretty moot point as most bets are made electronically these days.

I'm sorry man, I watched the race and thought it was a clean win until the officials and announcer pointed out there was a dispute then I understood but didn't understand why there was a disqualification and not just a replacing. Not sure if anyone really knew since it was the first time it happened. Our neighbor gets back tomorrow or Wednesday from there so I'm sure I'll understand it better coming from him. But from what I understand, Maximum Securities owner is skipping out on the other two races. I honestly don't know what to think about that or that particular rule.

During the preshow when they were doing the little bit on the jockeys and had a bio on them.... one of the jockeys had an "award" of The Most Number Of Times Entered And Not Winning".  It was like 25 times.  I sure wouldn't want that dude riding my horse with those stats.  I mean, I know there is money involved in all with hiring the jockeys and sometimes people can't pay top dollar or a jockey is under contract... but why put someone like that on your horse?

  I'm with you there!  If any fighter lost ALL his title fights or any NFL quarterback had NEVER won a playoff game I'm not sure I would ask them to be my guy when the chips were down.

Some of these horses will do ANYTHING to win and frankly I find it despicable.
