I know some will assume they are easy targets, but believe me when I say that Goodrum is a business man in many ways and knows very well what he is up to. Maybe not to the extent that some of you would imagine, but by way of his posts, commentary and involvement in the industry, Goodrum has made a living throughout time from bodybuilding. I commend him for making this industry work for him. There's a lot behind the scenes that Goodrum has done for bodybuilding. Thank you Vince.

Tbombz is another guy that we've literally seen grow up right in front of our very eyes. He started posting here at a very young age and has grown into the man he is today. Regardless of his shortcomings, you have to admit that the guy seems like a very nice human being that has been generous enough to share his life experiences (both good and bad) with random strangers on the internet. I appreciate him very much for giving us a look into his life.

Sincerely, I root for these guys to do very well, because life is short gentlemen and while we shoot the shit and make fun of them at times, these guys are part of the fabric that make up this website's entertainment content.

Tbombz has been a member of Getbig since '04. He probabaly was barely a legal adult at that time. He is a great example of how much many people change and  emotionally mature from their late teens and on into their 40's. Heck our brains aren't fully developed until we are 25 years old.

Tbombz has matured a lot since I first started reading his posts. We all have made mistakes. HIV unfortunately is a perma mistake (so far), but I've had close friends die from things as simple as a staph infection so Tbombz is lucky.

It is no longer the death sentence it once was back in the 80's. Granted, if you were residing in the wrong part of the world (the Congo and such), then yes, you'd probably be cashing out those last white blood cell chips, but as of now, living in the US and with HIV is very manageable.

In the case of my ex-brother-in-law. HIV was a mistake the hospital made when giving him a transfusion, many years ago, (he is a hemophiliac). During the last 25 or so years he's been through hell and back. Thanks to medical science, he is relatively healthy today.
