Give that homeless guy $2,000 and a bus ticket to NYC.

Fixed:

Breaking into a car is not breaking a frivolous law. A lot could go wrong because of this situation.

No it is not. Which is why I never said it was.

“If the city’s not going to enforce laws against trespassing, or camping, or public defecation and just make me bare the cost of these problems that’s just not right,” he told CBS4.

edit: just noticed the story mis-spelled bear.

Then you should’ve made that delineation when you made your original statement.

Why? I never mentioned breaking into cars, period. I think you may have read something that wasn't there. Why would I define the severity of a crime I didn't include in that post?

On this platform, I'd go with Leif Dautch. His views seem the most reasonable and workable.

The topic at hand was “quality of life crimes” of which breaking into cars was included. When you spoke of “frivolous” laws, I assumed you were including that.

My apologies, vehicle break-ins is like the first thing the original post in this thread mentions.

Truth is there are no victim-less crimes. Even committing suicide, which is still a crime in some places, is not free of victims. Ideally, no crime would go unnoticed. There just aren't enough resources to prosecute every crime and so we rank them.

Fair enough. Hope you have a good rest of your day.
