Someone in this thread rather brilliantly suggested that many of these old farts in Hollyweird are so liberal because they have lower test levels than they did decades ago; e.g., Arnold, who used to talk very much like an Alpha right-wing type.
We all know that, first and foremost, the money makes them soft: it is easy to be liberal when you want for nothing and live in a palace somewhere, effectively isolated and insulated from most of life's typical stress. But it seems true that the older they get, the more fucked their politics become. Some of that has to be complacency, but among the men, maybe low t is a corollary. After all, liberal women are typically like that even when they are young. How old was Jane Fonda when she was in Hanoi?

I'd like to ask DeNiro just who might Trump declare war against to warrant staying in office for more than two terms?
