I think it’s low T levels as they age. My father has become more liberal too. He was half shocked lately when I went on a rant against refugees. He’s not a leftie but drinks in a bar run by a muzzie. He was giving the muzzie a loan of money for an upcoming court case. I told him not to trust him as he’s only an infidel and not a true friend otherwise he wouldn’t let him drive home pissed most nights.

Watched the new series of "The Crown" and there is an episode where Prince Phillip got to met the the three astronuats of the first moon landing, he had built these guys up and had written down lots of questions to ask them, they turned out to be morons.
