The 14,000 pound maximum towing capacity is respectable and class leading for a half ton truck. the Ram with the Hemi will tow 12,750 pounds.

Expect more trucks to become electric in the future including Fedex, UPS, and Amazon prime.

For short haul runs (less than a few hundred miles) - totally agree. That is where efficiency will make the biggest payoff, as well as emission reductions at a point source.

Yes, if it's true...and that of course is the super duper high end model that in the end will cost twice what a current truck or Amazon van costs.

He's done all the R&D while poor execution of his product allows the other makers to come right behind and take market share.

Ford has thousands of car lots with thousands of service centers. Not hard to see how this plays out.

Electric motors are great at towing because all the torque is available a zero rpm. Just look at a locomotive or a mining truck.
