Fury won't get up this time. I'd advise him to fight Joshua in Nigeria or the UK for bigger money

We're only a few weeks away from Joshua vs. Ruiz 2. 8)

I think that Wilder would destroy Joshua (unless Joshua learns to hug and kiss), so I hope that Ruiz beats Joshua.
I want competition and action.  This Wilder-Ortiz bout was lame.

I have my favorites but usually prefer competitive bouts.  I was wild about Trinidad, but he was not competitive against Hopkins.

Ruiz has fast hands but doesn't move his feet.  Have you noticed that Wilder stays on the outside, probes with his left to find an opening or move the guard for the right and lets the nuke go.  WILDER IS GOING TO COMA RUIZ.  on the other hand, AJ is quite formidable against HW of equal size.  Povetkin, Ruiz, and Takem have shown he has issues with 6'2 and under fighters.  AJ will beat Fury and Wilder, will take another defeat down the road vs another short fighter. But like you said, he needs to hug like Vlad vs shorter fighter.

You're thinking he's going to beat Ruiz in the rematch?

Ruiz isn't good enough to hold on those belts.  Joshua steamrolls him.

Did people actually watch the Joshua v Ruiz fight?

Joshua was dominating and the fight and it was nearly done until Ruiz connected in the 3rd.

You can question Joshuas heart, but Ruiz needs to get lucky again otherwise he will be made to look foolish in the ring.

the only luck is ruiz has a tough chin , i dont question joshua he probably suffered several concussions

Beat them way past their prime. Wilder is the man now. Legit fighter.

That's a fair point. That's why I would still have Joshua as a huge favourite going into the rematch.

I would say Fury is the man right. Took Wilders bomb, got up and was unlucky not to win on the cards.

Wilder has probably only won about 5 or 6 rounds total in his last 4 fights. His being outboxed is troubling and going to cost him eventually.  Has the great eraser, no doubt but someone is going to get him sooner rather than later.  His skills are diminishing.  I thought after getting lucky in the Fury fight that his corner would get him jabbing better and staying more active. That pawing and short arming jab looked terrible last night. Trt

Ortiz got cocky was having way too much success, but Wilder showed his boxing IQ by holding off with the right until his opponent started to get complacent, props to him as he was losing rounds and getting frustrated. Ortiz was beaten as much by a lapse in his concentration as much as Wilders right hand, but easier said than done to avoid it for 36 minutes. Props to Wilder but Fury should beat him, if he can just avoid the right hand, he's not even that clever with how he sets it up, but it is a hammer and an equaliser.
Im sceptical on Joshua, I don't think he can out point Ruiz over 12 rounds, if he can't get him out of there I think Ruiz will KO him again, bad match up for him as Ruiz can take a shot but can he take Joshuas best shot.

Great to be talking about heavyweights again, slow fight but give me knock out power with sweet science anyday over plain old sweet science.

Ruiz is not fleet of foot, but he’s a good, well-rounded (see what I did there?) boxer, which is absolutely necessary to beat Wilder.
But can he avoid Wilder’s right hand for 12 rounds, probably not.  I think he'd have to keep Wilder backing up to have a chance.

I don't know.

I feel like Ruiz crushed Joshua's feelings of being unbeatable. I think he is in his head now.
