The way things are now I'm afraid, is the way things are from now on.
Totally opposite sides, attacking each other, never to unite. Social media's growth made experts out of everyone carrying their "moron remote" and do exactly what it tells them to do.
(Depending on the sites they follow).
People yelling and fighting online, would probably be friends otherwise (like this site, we all came for the iron-game, but forums are dead mainly, and most sites just turned political).
In real life (not the interwebz) friends talk it out and move on. Example: Last band I was in, 2 of us were Conservartards (minorly) and two guys were minor libtards.
(Remember, we're older and this modern day progressive stuff wasn't around in our day). We simply said day 1 "We wont discuss politics, we're here to write and play music).
10 years later as a band when we ended it (age/health reasons for a couple geezers) we realized we hadn't discussed it (politics) in 10 years.
Too much respect and friendship w/ each other. Modern internet era bred hate, along with the new age millennials who never encountered eye to eye stuff w/ real people.

Let people be who they are, like who they like, hate who they hate, don't physically attack and start protests (only lead to violence), put down the "moron remote" and have a thought.
Yes we all fuck w/ each other here on occasion, but again, its not real. Unfortunately, it gets the two top parties to control people, do their dirty work and fighting for them, and divide the nation.
Ok, back to bodybuilding, iron-game, strongman and powerlifting, the real reason we came here.
