I was in the middle of a set of deadlifts, nothing over the top, 365 for 8 when I notice this 150lb turd loading 135lb's on the bench behind me. He hops around for a couple of minutes and then jumps under the weight. I was doing a bit of stretching when I noticed the bar was in a slow downward movement, I thought maybe he is doing a negative, but then it just dead stopped on his chest. Pause, maybe? After about 10 seconds he raised his head, looked at me and asked if "hey man can I get a spot" to which I pointed at my lower back and told him I couldn't risk injury. Some 110lb desk worker chick finally wrestled it off him. It was pretty damn comical.
So I finished my 3rd set of 365 and gave him an old-school head nod greeting and left.
