I seriously can't remember not being able to do 135. I remember breaking the two plate barrier back in the day, but 135 was just a given. How old is this kid?

hmmm...you sure are a "tough guy" aren't ya...If you had done that to me,you would have been smacked in the mouth in the parking lot.You showed what a true jackass you really are.You were afraid you would get injured?If you aren't strong enough to lift it off of him(hahaha should have been no problem for a stud like you )all you had to do was help him roll it to his waste so he could sit up with it....and who are you kid'n anyway.."nothing over the top,just 365 for 8 reps"...you couldn't do that with a chain hoist..

Funny,

Yesterday I was setting up for decline bp and was at a weight where I like to have a spotter sometimes. There were only a few guys around I could even trust to get the weight off me.

Just before asking, I thought about this thread and decided to go without a spotter, after laughing my ass off for a second.

No he didn't strike a nerve...I just think it is comical that he starts a thread like this laughing about how he was a total prick to some kid.Yeah he is 100% right that the kid shouldn't have tried to lift it without a spot, and it wasn't his problem,but that isn't the point.It is just common courtesy to help someone in a situation like that.Would it be any different at all if it were some big dude that normally benches 400 and for whatever reason got 315 stuck on his chest and needed help?

Ok I'll admit it. I got stuck under that weight once on my final set of my final reps when I was a kid. Never hapened again!
