Coincidentally Mr Ashley mentions in the interview he had the same offer going. Now I'm no expert, but if you are on the right sort of gear and have a week or two to clear out then maybe it's possible to pass a specific range of tests?

Alongside that, wasn't there that 'Defend' stuff going round at the time? Aaron Baker and the 2nd WBF comp spring to mind, hmmm...?

Oh, and did anyone else note in the vid that he claimed his natural test level was 1300 at one point, and even today at age 60 he's around 800. I wouldn't mind a bit of whatever it is that he is (definitely not) on ...

A distinguished gentleman that used to post on this site said that prior to Ashley’s days as a bodybuilder, he was in the sport of powerlifting. As a powerlifter, Ashley NEVER mentioned being drug-free or natural. Never.

All the “I’m drug free” non-sense suddenly popped up when the IFBB announced drug testing in 1990.
