5.  Live beneath your means.  Don't wast money on shit you don't need.

6.  Don't get divorced and lose half your net worth.

7.  Wait for for the effects of compound interest.

8.  You're rich.

Where he made the bulk of his money is when he took that money and started aggressively playing the stock market. During the early 80s. Following the  free advice of the stock brokers he parked cars for.

That is not a path to wealth that would be open to most people or what you described in your previous  post.  Good on the brotha, but he benefited from a huge amount of luck and good timing that most people shouldn't count on.

Buying Coca-Cola stock is not aggressively playing the market.  Coca-Cola is a "buy and hold forever" stock.  It's about as much of a sure thing as you are going to get in the stock market but it's slow and steady.  If you want to be aggressive and gamble with your money you invest in Tesla.  Very big swings in value and no dividends so you are completely dependent on appreciation to make money.  Not my style.  I don't want to get rich quick, I want to get rich for sure.
