I think you're mistaken, I don't think thats a good example of functional muscle and I don't think he looks healthy.
I also think that he's not interested in functional muscle or being healthy so everything is going according to plan.

He doesn't need to be anywhere near 310 could have moved to 270-280 max during offseason and made the same gains and maintained a more healthy state.
