hospital in brooklyn is very empty. I had a friend post a video on facebook . he walked all around the hospital showing the setup for the coronavirus all the tents and waiting lines etc. not a single person anywhere. walked around to the front and again nothing.this was just on saturday too. This was in brooklyn so maybe there people dont panic and rush to the hospital but its beginning to look like the media is once againn blowing things way out of proportion. ( like they always do) im not saying the virus isnt here but its not what they are pretending it is.

According to worldometers, USA (total country) currently has 3512 patients in a serious or critical condition.

67 000 of the 164 424 cases in the USA are in NY.

So say New York hospitals would have about 1000 serious/critical corona patients currently in hospitals.

Media is way overhyping, no doubt about that.

I'm not hearing any talk about the daily case curves flattening all around the globe....

Only "surging deaths" "killer virus" blah blah they're scum.

It depends on where you are in the city. Some are slammed, some are fine. What has also happened is that they are canceling appointments for benign things, and less old people and poor are coming in for this or that in the emergency rooms.

I have had a routine appointment cancelled for next Friday, I sense all non essential appointments will suffer the same fate

Most hospital appointments are non essential

All major NYC hospitals (NYU, Mount Sinai, New York Presbyterian etc) have now been converted to only treat COVID-19 patients. The smaller outer Borough hospitals are being used to care for non-Covid patients that are transferred over from the major hospitals. With that being said, there is a lockdown throughout NYC, so there will be less traffic to hospitals for all other non-Covid related issues.

Just a word of advice it was very very stupid of u to try banning me during all this. People who try to censor at a time of any crisis is a damn fool, u seem lost in comprehension when the goal is communication. You know time wasonly cock is a dam fool but we love him still regardless how ignorant he is to cancer advice. Since u like to play god here what do u advise for tim westcocks? Positive thinking, radiation , more eggs?

Not to say I told ya so but...

When I saw “The Comfort” pull in, I was reminded of the fake town in Blazing Saddles.

Meanwhile in DC:

“With interest rates for the United States being at ZERO, this is the time to do our decades long awaited
Infrastructure Bill. It should be VERY BIG & BOLD, Two Trillion Dollars, and be focused solely on jobs and rebuilding the once great infrastructure of our Country! Phase 4”

I was wondering why Trump did an about face from his plan to get the economy started by Easter and why he kept trotting out Fauci to spread fear and hysteria with his 200k deaths bullshit. It was because another stimulus plan was in the works.

Its funny how they say how many have it how many died and what they "project" will happen . Why dont they say how many recovered? How many had other issues? But they dont. And testing was such an issue just so they can say how many tested positive ( notice how they dont say how many tested negative). Also why dont they say how many have the regular flu? How many died from it? But they dont. The media would say if your wife shot you and you died and they checked you and you had the virus they would say "man died from complications of the chinese virus" .  Not that the bitch shot him.  lol. And projecting anything is worthless really. lets say monday you sold 10 cars and tuesday you sold 20 cars so you "project" that wednsday  you should sell 40 cars because you sold twice as many on tuesday as monday so wed should be twice as many as tuesday and thursday should be twice as many as wed etc etc.  life doesnt work that way. but thats what they are doing with this chinese virus and they have no clue what they are doing. none.

The Governor of NY said:

80% of the people that get Coronavirus will not need to be hospitalized because the situation will resolve on its own.

15% of the people will need to be hospitalized, but they will not require a ventilator.

5% of the people that get Coronavirus will be hospitalized and they will require a ventilator. Those are the people that are in serious trouble.

In some covid places 25% of nurses and doctors are quarantined or self isolated.

Also a covid ward is not like a normal hospital ward. They need far more staff per patient. A nurse may spend an entire 12 hour shift just dealing with 2 intubated patients.

The Senate bill was 840 pages. No way they could’ve put that together so fast. It had to be in the works for a long time.

Because of this thread, I went by New York Presbyterian. Also dead . I checked both entrances. Special surgery on 71st St. as well as the main entrance. I even walked up to the window of the emergency walk-in. Nothing going on.

Every time I see an ambulance, it’s always parked and idling and the EMTs are sitting there dicking around on their iPhones.

Marty Champions for the win. Great thread

I honestly think this has been in the city since late December, early january. A lot of us were coming down with a fucked up cold of sorts. I felt like garbage for 3 weeks in january and everything was getting me slightly winded, even tying my shoes. Low fever, cough with no real phlegm.. Joints were killing me I wouldn't be surprised if times square new years eve was the first spread catalyst, chinese lunar new years the second as they are both zoos and then you have all the bars, gyms, and just the general pig behavior here... If you blood tested everyone in this city and saw how many have already passed this virus I think it would be really eye opening...

For stuff they tack on, those clowns have stock blocks of garbage always at the ready to bolt onto any bill to try sneaking it through.

Seriously, they can't let this garbage go on past april in nyc. It's not the virus I am worried about, it's hearing things from women I know about how they have been followed in the streets, and ppl slowly getting more adapted to the situation to do criminal shit.. It will either be open the city or close the mta to all but essential workers and have someome vetting id at every station... They should also suspend this bail reform garbage for anyone trying anything during this..
