Isn't he a promotor and MC or somthing like that? Probably not too many gigs right now in these corona times. Hence the begging for money on that website. Not sure where he makes his money other than that.

But yes seems like Bob always hustled getting small gigs here and there, acting for TV and what not when he was yonger atleast. And then he probably also had sponsors and magazine stuff and he was sponsored by bodybuilding.com for a long while from what I remember.

So pretty dried up markets for Bob these days..

I am guessing Bob has seen EVERYTHING bodybuilding has to offer, both off-stage and on-stage and what's going on behind the scenes and the sub-culture (clubs , g4p for elderly gentlemen, the mirage etc), so i'm sure he has some traumatic memories as well.

Not everything is sunshine and roses.

It would be great reading if any pro wrote a book about the underside of the industry. Most would need a ghost writer to actually write it but maybe not Chick.
