LIFT, you have argued every statement I made.
Then when I started with legitimate marketing strategy points, you have resorted to ignoring the question and instead posting ads for the show?
This show is very important. Already, it will be a close call for Shawn to break even on the event in its first year with its high prize monies. Why would you not even consider the fact that the return on a round trip plane ticket for one guy would be greater than its cost, and likely INCREASE show ticket and ad revenues?
There is a very good chance Shawn would make MORE money with Jeffers in the show. I can't believe you're ignoring this fact.
You're basing your "marketing strategy" based off from your crusade here on getbig. Where were you boys at MD? They are based in New York, yet you failed to mention one thing about them not covering the event on their site.
You have no clue on any of the financials, whether it will be a close call for Shawn or not, so please stop trying to flatter yourself and think you do. Take a poll of the bodybuilding fans and ask them if they would fly to see Rusty Jeffers compete, sadly most would say Rusty who? Hate to break it to you marketing genius but Rusty Jeffers won't get more people in the seats. Street teams, local marketing, local PR will get more people attending the show.
You think anyone who reads getbig sees, wow that Rusty Jeffers guy is in the Colorado show, I better buy a ticket, book my hotel, book my flight and go see him compete?
Your MBA obviously didn't help you in the common sense area of life.
