Zachary Hammond, an unarmed, white 19 year old and Daniel Shaver are just 2 examples of the 53% of police murders involving white people, while blacks make up about 35% of police killings. And the claim that regardless of the total numbers, blacks are killed disproportionately is because black people have turned their neighborhoods into war zones. Gangs, drug dealers, pimps, drive by shootings and the rest of it is going to be a much more dangerous situation for cops and more likely to result in a violent encounter than in a white neighborhood. No one cares about White people killed by cops. These are 2 of the MANY more murders against whites than exist against blacks.
In January 2016, Mesa police Officer Philip Brailsford shot and killed the 26-year-old Shaver after barking conflicting commands at the terrified man in a hotel hallway for several minutes. Bodycam footage later released of the Texas visitor begging for his life before he was shot went viral.
The shooting of Zachary Hammond occurred on July 26, 2015, in Seneca, South Carolina.[1] Hammond, age 19, was shot in his car during an undercover narcotics operation that targeted his passenger. Hammond, who was unarmed, was shot twice by 32-year-old police lieutenant Mark Tiller.
