Seagal may be a dick in real life but I love his early movie. That bar scene was classic and it was good to see Dan Inosonatos back on the big screen. I use to see him pretty regularly when he took private Jiu-Jitsu lesson with the Machados and lived about a mile away from me in Harbor City (I was in Torrance, CA).

That was a great scene.  Dan Inosanto would kill Seagal in a real fight.

Inosanto is terrible. Total fraud mooching off his brief association with a Bruce Lee. Has trained no champions.

Dan was Bruce Lee's closest friend and was with him before Bruce became an action hero. Dan never claimed to be, a competitive fighter or a MMA coach/trainer. He was a martial arts instructor and has worked with Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida.

That clip made me watch Seagals seven first/oldest movies again :D

Out for Justice was fun! Above the Law and Hard to kill enjoyable.

Even liked Under Siege 2.

Out of those old ones, Marked for Death was the worst.

Typical comment of an Aikido "master" where it's all show but very little practical application. GSP, being primarily a grappler, was never a flashy, crowd pleasing fighter but he won and beat some of the very best and is considered one of the great MMA fighters in history judge by those who actually know real MMA and not just a fat actor and showman who mean mugs everybody.

Steven Seagal: GSP Is Not a Great Martial Artist

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1431695-steven-seagal-gsp-is-not-a-great-martial-artist

It's laughable watching this fat man move believing he'd last more than 3 minutes with GSP irl.

"How you doin?"

"Who did Ritchie?"

"I'm comin' back till I find out!"

Classic dialogue.

I’ve been to his dumpy MMA gym. It’s trash. Nobody who knows MMA trains there. Pathetic 50 year old photos of him with Bruce Lee everywhere like that means anything in 2020. Weak.

Sounds like you are very bitter and have some hurt feelings and resentment. In real life, Guru Dan, as he is often referred to, is held in the highest esteem by everyone in the MMA community and the martial arts world. He has never used his association with Bruce Lee to promote commercial success like many do with other martial arts instructors. Henry Atkins, a very legit and high level Jiu-Jitsu instructor, bases his whole business around the fact that Rickson Gracie was his instructor and who he got his Black Belt from. Many do the same with other well know competitors but never Dan Inosantos. Never has he, himself, promoted any courses or his school based on his association with Bruce Lee or being one of his closest friends and original student of the probably the most famous and admired Martial artist in the world.

Futhermore, Dan, personally, is one of the nicest, humble, down to earth man you can ever have the pleasure and honor to meet. I don't understand the hate and resentment but you can't please everybody. Fortunately you are a very tiny minority. In fact, never have I heard or read anybody say anything negative ever about Dan and your comments here is more of a reflection on you than Inosantos.

I totally agree.  I have never heard anyone who has ever worked with Inosanto say anything bad about him.

But does anyone have a good gif showcasing Steven Seagal running like half-a-fag?

Never had a problem with his movies or funny acting, but his running "form" would always make me laugh.
