Eddie Hall - loses 6 stone (84lbs) in 2 months on 7000 Cal/day..?
« on: September 25, 2020, 03:11:36 PM »
Don't really keep up to date with the strongman stuff, but Eddie occasionally pops up in my feed

Do those numbers sound realistic..?

"Eddie Hall Sheds Six Stone On 7,000-Calorie-A-Day Diet

Strongman Eddie Hall has revealed he's managed to shed more than six stone in just two months as he prepares to fight Hafþór Björnsson - and that's despite consuming 7,000 calories a day, believe it or not

The former World's Strongest Man has been going through a tough training schedule in preparation for his Las Vegas boxing match next year, which will see him go head-to-head with the Game of Thrones star

Hall, whose nickname is 'The Beast', has been keeping a close eye on his nutrition to ensure he's in the best shape for the big day. But while you'd probably assume that would mean he's been eating nothing but rice cakes, he's actually been chowing down on 7,000 calories a day - almost three times the recommended intake for an adult male."

Plausible depending on his starting weight and daily activity.  12 kcal per pound bodyweight for an adult male would put just about anyone into weight loss. If he was 400 pounds that's 4800 kcal just by being alive. Toss in several hours of training and you can hit another 2000 plus. On my cycling rides I burn close to 1000 kcal an hour cycling at my aerobic max. Thats for a guy weighing 200 pounds!

He had already lost a ton of weight since his strong man days and was pretty lean for his size. If he lost another 6 stones he'd then he'd be stage ready for the 212s!

Sorry Coach - as I say I haven't really followed this side of things since the time of Jon Pall Sigmarrson and Bill Kazmaier!  So I wouldn't know

Someone on here will though  :)

I follow Eddie on youtube, he has some funny videos.

That's an old article.

Factor in the following:

-He obviously dropped his gear doses down quite a bit
-He exercises like 4-5 hours a day, lots of boxing and sparring
-He's eating about half of what he used to
-He's on GH/T3 and anything else to help he get lean, he's got access to anything he wants

I believe it's possible to do what he did. I've personally lost 28 pounds in about 3 months with just diet, cardio and T3.

Absolutely. I got too fat for my standards during the pandemic [206-lb], before finally deciding to nip it in the bud. I'm 188-lb now, which is within 15-lb of my ideal weight [again, just by my standards].

Now I finally have access to full gym equipment. I don't know about everyone else, but the date I self-selected to give my last fuck about the pandemic is June 1st.

At that point, I'll just be going on business as usual, completely resisting arrest, etc.

Imagine closing down all gyms and leaving all fast food restaurants open during a pandemic in the name of "people's health".  ::)

At 6'3" and 350, Eddie's BMR (calories to run the engine at idle) would be around 3000 cals.

A dude I work with dropped 60 pounds in 10 weeks from HCG shots. Apparently its injected into his stomach ( at a weight loss clinic).

I wonder if Eddie is doing this?

I've wondered about the HCG thing.  Do people use only HCG for trt purposes?  I've heard it's not something you would want to be on long term, but honestly don't really know much about it.

Eddie is the only person I've ever seen that consistently has a 6 pack, yet doesn't have any muscle definition anywhere else on his body.

This man should just be awarded the UFC and boxing titles.
Also should be awarded a Brazilian jiu jitsu red belt

I fear for his health. I'm reminded of another world record holder, the world's fattest man ever, John Minnoch [picture attached]:

monsterman500: are you familiar with actor Ethan Supplee, who lost 23 stone [322-lb]?
