Watched a few episodes of this on Netflix. Interesting story and characters, but it dubbed into English and that plus the American accents is just jarring.

Is this how people feel watching hollywood movies dubbed in their native language or do you just get used to it?

America is heading for a fall like Rome. The elections are fixed. The liberal disease is growing. Democrats are fighting to make a nuclear launch by committee because they can't trust Biden. You have around 30 minutes after a nuclear war head is launched at America to retaliate. A committee will ensure America is done. Trade deals are going in China's favor as long as key Democrats are paid off for their slice. The new 1.9 trillion stimulus bill could pay every voter over 30K but it will give chump change because it's all about money hand outs for kick backs.

Did some reading about Arminius.  He actually existed and inflicted what some believe is the greatest defeat ever suffered by Rome.
Rome as a result abandoned plans to annex Germania west of the Danube. 
He didn't hook up with Thusnelda until years after the battle though.

One advantage to being older.  I feel sorry for the next generations here.

Our parents felt the same way about us.  Imagine being a parent during the 1960s craziness...war...race riots...political protests...drugs...sexua l revolution...political assassination of leaders.  It must have been very stressful.  My own family suffered in those times.  I was just a kid on the sidelines but had older siblings.
We were on our way back from a camping trip and the first race riots broke out in our city.  Uh...Dad, take a detour.

To survive you must adapt to change.
