how's it going monty ?   let me put it to you this way. let's just say you've worked from the time you were 15 your whole life mostly 60 plus hour weeks. you paid into social security all that time now it's finally time to reap the benefits. and some guy comes along and wants to defund social security which would bankrupt the system by 2023.  add that most of the time you paid health insurance 4000 dollars a year for good coverage. for the last 3 years thanks to the ACA you didn't have to pay anything for better coverage plus dental and vision are now covered which wasn't under the 4 k plan. and some guy wants to take that away. are you going to vote for the guy who wants to take away the stuff you worked your whole life for ?

For every story like that, there's another like Soulcrusher whose premiums more than doubled for the ACA.

Everyone's views are based on how everything affects THEM, with little regard for others.

SS wouldn't be bankrupted by 2023, by the way.

How’s it going, funk jr.?
Let me put it to you this way:

Under “0bamacare,” More than 16 million Americans obtained health insurance coverage within the first five years of the “ACA.”
And, people with pre-existing health conditions could no longer be denied coverage.
YIPPEE!!!

ON THE OTHER HAND:
MY PREMIUMS WENT WAY UP, as well as my taxes - including taxes on medical device and pharmaceutical sales. Several new taxes were passed into law to help pay for the ACA... including taxes on medical device and pharmaceutical sales.

Businesses also cut employee hours to avoid covering employees - something that was a “non-issue” before your beloved 0bamacare.

If you ever actually work for a living, you may appreciate those things…

Until that day, you will probably support and invest in the current welfare system that rewards laziness and freeloaders who bleed the system using MY tax dollars.

WE ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS TO "REWARD" THOSE UNWILLING TO WORK. So, knowing that, ARE YOU STILL GOING TO VOTE FOR THE PARTY THAT ENABLES & ENCOURAGES THIS BULLSHIT?

I said I don't believe it will be gone, so that's moot.

When I weighed what I found important to me - strong borders / strong military / lower taxes / better for the economy / tough on China and Iran, I felt that Trump was the lesser of two evils right now.  While I feel he has not delivered on education and health reform, Biden had 8 years and we got Obamacare.

I don't live on twitter 24/7 and obsess on the stupid shit the president says, so it doesn't affect me.

If the Democrats had ran someone a bit more dynamic and young, and not chosen the potential successor based on gender and race I may have reconsidered.

Agree 100%!

This is part of why I'm so anti-democrat.

2016 was a  bottoming out - the right had to go completely anti-politician and the left had the same old same old.

For 2020, the right would obviously run the incumbent, so the left had four years to see why they lost, make changes, and get younger and more dynamic.

Instead, they spent four years attacking the administration 24/7, floating wild conspiracies theories, starting an impeachment they knew had no chance of winning, and pushed identity politics, racism, etc.....

So we got another old career politician and a VP picked due to gender and race.

I completely agree with you, they should have followed your advices. however their two best candidates had major flaws. pete buttplug is gay and andrew yang is asian-american.
