a conman the entire US government just backed what he has been saying for the past 4 years?I dont even understand your argument.
My argument is that there is no evidence to support the speculations about UAPs being extraterrestrial in nature, and that Elizondo (along with almost all of these so-called UFOlogists) is a fraud. He intentionally obfuscates and evades answering questions because his business model depends on trying to tie his former career to retarded Sci-Fi fantasies. Something he's done quite successfully, though.
By 'the entire government' do you mean the Office of the Director of National Intelligence? And if they've just backed what he's been saying, then he's clearly not the heroic whistleblower people think he is, and he's also not saying much at all, given that the report just published literally does not support 'extraterrestrial' claims.
So the NASA administrator thinks 'we are not alone in the universe'? Great. So what? It's possible that there is some form of life out there. It's also entirely possible that we are the only life in the universe as we know it. That is unrelated to the UAP issue. Furthermore, stating that the report 'proves these things are real' is an irrelevant conclusion. No one is saying they aren't.
germany picking up on it

If by 'Germany' you mean the esteemed UFO researcher/YouTuber/and probable Scheiße-porn enthusiast Robert Fleischer, then yes, they are really picking up on it.
On an entirely unrelated note, here's an article which elucidates the money and politics involved in the technology that the public are allowed to hear about:
