Go spend those stimulus checks.

I did that yesterday. All $132. of it. It came in the form of a debit card.....supposedly that's less hassle than writing a check. It has been several years  since I've gotten a refund on my federal income tax, so maybe that's the reason they don't have my bank info for direct deposit.

When the debit card arrived in the mail, I thought it was a scam. So, I did a some checking and it is legit.

I agree with your first point, however, the Left’s endgame is repeal of the 2nd Amendment or a series of new laws that have nearly the same effect.  I don’t believe that the Left will succeed at this anytime soon, but in the meantime, the NRA is the best organized bulwark against this, so the Left is hell-bent on eliminating them.

And now we are about to see the most anti-2nd A administration ever, come to power.

"I said, 'Jill, if there's ever a problem, just walk out on the balcony here, walk out…put that double-barrel shotgun (sic) and fire two blasts outside the house,'" Biden said.
"You don't need an AR-15—it's harder to aim," he added, "it's harder to use, and in fact you don't need 30 rounds to protect yourself. Buy a shotgun! Buy a shotgun!"

The number of rounds one needs to protect himself, his family, or his property will be the number of rounds he uses to protect himself, his family, or his property.

During her failed presidential bid, The Menstrurial Candidate said that she’d give Congress 100 days to pass a number of gun laws, or she’d use executive action to enact them.

They'll have at least 23 months to pursue their agenda.  A reversal of Trump's bump stock ban?

Yes and No. On the plus side it's the biggest pro-gun org, and that name and power has sway with politicians. That being said a lot of the good old guard that believed in the cause have died off, etc...., and you are left with a lot folks there that seem to be lining their pockets.

For instance, Wayne LaPierre, the head man, had them buy him a $6,000,000 mansion, $3000-5000 Zegna suits, etc....  They've also had missteps like staying in New York when the tide was changing a few years ago. They've also been compromising too much.

There needs to be younger, slightly more militant members taking the reins now.

Ah, so pretty much the same corruption issues that have plagued unions and guilds since forever.

How has humanity not solved this? Just off the top of my head: If you accept leadership, you can't write yourself checks from the organization's coffers. Also a network of oligarchs won't keep you in the seat if you misbehave becasue we periodically have a vote by the membership to keep you or adios you.

A $6,000,000 house. I can see how blue collar America might question where their donations are going. You'd think if there's anyone you don't want to cheat out of their money it's people keen on long guns and scopes.

You have to actually make an attempt in order to try.  Link us to these so called attempts.
