Lurker - I’m not sure if you are old enough to remember when Biden first ran for POTUS back in 1988. He was literally humiliated by the media for all of the blatant lies and plagiarism. If you haven’t seen it you should check it out. It was mainstream news illustrating with audio/video proof that he was a blatant liar saying whatever he thought would help him. Hell - he gave a speech about his crime Bill on the floor of Congress and bragged that it “put everyone but jaywalkers in jail”.

I don’t think “hating” makes any sense on either side and while I definitely don’t believe Biden is fit to be CIC - he IS and I 100% pray for him to do a good job. Anyone wishing otherwise is insane. If you didn’t like the pilot of a plane you were on - hell maybe you even HATED him - would you want him to fail??? Makes no sense.

That being said - Biden has wanted to be POTUS his entire “political career”. That’s not how political SERVITUDE was intended. For 100+ years it was seen as a civic duty- give back to your country. Now we have politicians making it their career (on both sides and it’s ALL wrong)
Politicians know that they can make a fortune in DC. There is a great episode of Valuetainment podcast where an insider explains all the ways government is corrupt.

When Justin Trudeau won his second election, I accepted it because it felt legitimate [mathematically] in my mind. Looking over charts of swing states where vertical jumps in Biden votes happened after midnight was all I needed to "know" this election was a sham.

Once Whites get annoyed enough, we'll just burn the whole system down like we did after WWII. And WWI for that matter.

So, while I don't feel this election was legitimate, I agree with you that disingenuous posts are also not good.

That being said, it's convenient that Covid-19 was here to excuse the lack of turnout. IMO, this still would have been the least-attended POTUS inauguration in history. But nevertheless, thank you for clarifying that point about Covid-19.

Regarding "security", where was all this security when BLM, and other leftists bitching about nothing, were burning everything to the ground all summer?

That being said, did Trump lie more than the average president? I felt he purposely used hyperbole to get people to tell the truth in media [one of his strategies].

Example:

Trump would say there are 100 million illegal immigrants in the USA, and the left-wing press would say "There are only 30 million!" Or 50 million, or whatever the number. Thus getting them to confess their lies, lol.

^ I think that's the 3D chess people spoke of. Other times, he would contradict himself multiple times in the same sentence, which I don't know his strategy for doing, if he even had one.

IMO, he has a touch of instability on that issue - like asking for my views on race. NOT that I'm wrong...but I know what grinds my gears.

Regarding Marvin Martin's point, I do think public service went from public service, to basically an elite level job, similar to being a celebrity = money.

Also, what makes you the happiest about Biden being president?

I liked Trump for many reasons, with the biggest being his anti-war stance.
