I only have a cursory knowledge of the man, but to think the Paris accords are related to the people of Paris only shows how little he understands. If you understand little about a topic, it’s best not to deploy that subject when debating.

Now, completely get that his supporters will likely think it makes complete sense, so who knows? Maybe the man is simply deploying language that makes sense to low IQ voters. In which case: fair play!

Cruz was making a point. He probably should have just said “other countries” - but the point was that this “agreement” is TERRIBLE for the USA. There is simply NO WAY that 195 countries could be monitored and held accountable. Just think about that.

I am not aligned completely with either party and honestly for someone to truly believe that “their party” is correct - is insane. I don’t understand how anyone can be unwilling to look at EACH and EVERY issue independently. The problem is that 99.9999% of people (at least here in the USA) who say they understand or are educated on a subject - got their information from a biased source.

I am very fiscally conservative, but also agree that we HAVE to revamp our healthcare system. The problem isn’t highly paid doctors - it’s hospital administration and even more the bloated pharmaceutical industry. I think doctors SHOULD make a fortune if they are great doctors. For those that would argue that we wouldn’t have the innovation in pharmaceuticals - THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! There are FAR too many drugs being pushed. We do nothing in terms of educating people on taking control of their health and showing that a huge majority of medical problems can be prevented and even reversed via natural supplementation. I deal with thousands of seniors and have seen (unfortunately only a few) people who are in their late 90’s who have excellent health and take ZERO medication. Those few that I have been fortunate to speak in length with have told me that most of them only found this later in life. One man had cancer in multiple organs - he was in his late 50’s and went through treatment and surgery - but also REALLY dug into taking control of his health. He had been obese like that shizz guy and took tons of meds. Now he is 96 and takes ZERO meds.
