king kong is a giant gorilla, gorillas are covered in fur, godzilla, breaths fire , so he would just shoot his flames up king kongs asshole and he would catch on fire.

Yeah a still/snapshot from Trailer shows MechaGodzilla

So the plot will definitely be Godzilla and Kong fighting eachother in the first half and then teaming up against the big bad MechaGodzilla in te latter half.

Looking at InterWebz reviews, I think I might be the only person in the world that enjoyed the Broderick Godzilla in 98? Fortress maybe?

But I didn't see the 2014 version - worth a look? Would I need to see it before this one?

And at a tangent, I (almost accidentally) watched Megalodon the other day and surprised myself by really enjoying it! The trailer tempted me in... Maybe I'm not such an old fart after all

True Godzilla-fans (fans of the Original Godzilla franchise) hated the Broderick-Godzilla.

They even parodied it in Final Wars where the real Godzilla easily and swiftly killed off the Broderick-Zilla.

On Skull Island they said that Kong was basically a child still growing.... but let's be real. Godzilla lays waste to entire cities and destroys armies easily... Kong couldn't fight off a few old airplanes.
