Div,

Here's my chest routine

A warm up set of eight for each exercise and then five sets of five.

Flat, decline, incline DB press. military press, close grip and then one arm dumbell or french curls or tricep extensions. Then I train forearms. I'd probably be a lot stronger in the incline db press if it were first, but I have a shoulder injury and it needs a lot of time to warm up. I can only do 100 on incline db press after flat and decline have been done.

I prefer to train alone, but sometimes it's convenient to have a spotter.
Had a "workout partner" for a while (approx. for about a year) but he was the type of guy who liked to shake hands with everybody that he knew in the gym before we started.
Just want to do the training and get out as soon as possible, and that's a lot easier when you're alone.

He never understood why I went 1 or 2 sets ahead when he was busy socializing.

Love under Incline DB Press.

Incline DB presses are the best for chest development......takes the pressure off the rotator cuffs and places the emphasis on the upper pecs and triceps.  I do them first and push them to the max....all out.

I usually finish with decline bench, mainly for a different feel. 

Inclines are where most of my energy is spent and it feels like no other chest movement.

I'd train with Div or Goudy...both seem like they train intense, which is the only way to train. Goudy trains in an old school gym like i do. no bullshit, just weights.

Div's workout for chest seems close to what i do in the offseason. i always start with incline DB when i'm bulking, it is the main chest builder in my opinion. having someone stronger or just as strong working with me makes for a better workout. every rep is perfect, no cheating, no assisted lifts, nothing but heavy weight.

never really trained with partners..i find most usually talk too much..

if i'm yabbering away on the ride to the gym does not mean its still yab time when we hit the gym parking lot..then shut the f**k up..

i'd prolly pick div or jake..but even then not in a tradational partner sense..

when i do 'train' with someone  i usually mean..."here n there i'll give you a look which means come over and spot me real quick..then go back to your training"
i do the same for them..no talking....i could be training chest and the other person could be training legs..

You're such a bad ass.

Ever seen a kid drop a dumbell or barbell on his face during an incline press?

Never seen that but it reminds me of some funny shit I saw one time. A few years ago this dude was doing 135lb incline presses with the barbell. He was trying to drop the weight right under his chin, high on the chest for good form. Well, I don't know what the hell he was thinking but during his second set, when he unracked the barbell, he brought the weight down too close and ran the bar down the ridge of his nose. Now, normally that wouldn't be too bad but it was one of those bars that have the diamond knurling (where the bar is ground for gripping) across the entire bar. He literally ground the skin off his nose, from his eyebrows to his nostrils.
Due to the trauma he just encountered, he totally lost his focus and dropped the bar on his throat/chest, and had to call out for help. I could do nothing because the sheer sight of this had me laughing so hard, I lost the ability to move my limbs. I swear I tried, but all I could really do is kinda crawl his direction. Luckily someone closer ran up and pulled it off of him.
I give the dude credit, he continued his workout after waiting for the bleeding to stop. The next few weeks he was in there with a huge scab running down his nose, just that sight alone made me lose it.

 I would pick Jennifer Cowan (The BEAST) any time any day any gym...

 Especially on leg-day...she can keep up with or even out hustle the best of them...

 Some of the best leg workouts of my life came with training directly with her.
