It would have been better to have a "do nothing" boring republican in charge. Trump made the pendulum swing too far in the other direction with his antics and eventually made the Republicans lose Georgia. If Republicans still had the senate there could at least be gridlock and we wouldn't end up with this massive tax increase and overreaching social agenda.

Totally agree. I am a Democrat and I do not fear Trump in 2024 at all, damaged goods especially with suburban voters. DeSantis on the other hand could give either Biden or Harris a run for their money.

I don’t know what the Karen Coalition is exactly but here are some interesting voting statistics:

White men shifted somewhat away from Trump between 2016 and 2020 (Trump still got most of them but somewhat less than when Hillary was in the mix)

White women shifted somewhat TOWARD Trump 2016 to 2020 (Trump got them in both 2016 and 202O but not by that much)

Latinos shifted TOWARD Trump 2016 to 2020 (Biden still got 60 percent or more of Hispanic voters)

Blacks stayed solidly Democrat 2016 to 2020.

For the sake of the future of the Republican Party (and America), Trump needs to pass the baton.

He did annihilate senile Biden. The election was stolen. You have to be either a moron or naive if you think Biden / Harris won. They are acting very guilty also. Judges refusing to look at evidence or hear testimonies. How can the judges be an authority on election integrity if they failed to even look at evidence or hear from witnesses?! They are uniformed as far as I am concerned and unqualified to make a judgement.

Yes, as a Democrat, he worries me. He has time to pivot more to the Center and get the Karens (whoever the Karens are) as you point out. He has been running Florida pretty well I think from an administrative standpoint. As a Greek American, he may do well in the ethnic Midwest and Pennsylvania and among Latinos. Way better choice (at least at this point) than Pence (too evangelical), Rubio (pipsqueak), or Pompeo (fat), Cruz (totally unlikeable), Hawley (weirdo), Cotton (seems gay). Who else is there?

But if the economy keeps humming, I think Biden is still favored despite his age. Harris not so sure.
