You certainly have every right to disagree with the war in Iraq. But I certainly won't bother to argue with your insult to the intelligence and patriotism of apparently all the fine men and women in the US Military - the group of men and women whose service protects our freedom and insures our nation's continued prosperity.

However, do you really believe that the war is the cause of high gas prices? I know you're smart enough to know that Dubya's administration doesn't anywhere near singlehandedly control the global oil industries.

But don't you think that rising demand in places like China could have something to do with high prices at the pump? What about the inability of current oil industry infrastructures to simultaneously keep up with rising demand of current crude supplies and the need to refine new supplies?

And don't you think that perhaps the eventual existence of a US friendly government and private business sector in Iraq may actually contribute to lower fuel prices longterm?
