Ron DeSantis (R) said he is perplexed to see President Biden scrambling to get his Cabinet together due to migrants being sent to a “wealthy, rich sanctuary enclave,” highlighting the hypocrisy of the elites who already shipped the migrants, who they claim to care about, away “within 48 hours.”

The far left experienced a collective freakout on Wednesday after learning that the DeSantis administration had sent dozens of migrants to the Obamas’ favorite vacation spot, Martha’s Vineyard — a proposal he floated over six months ago. The pearl-clutching reaction from those who champion sanctuary policies made national headlines — arguably more than other issues related to the border, from fentanyl overdoses to the impact of illegal alien crime on small communities.

DeSantis said he was “a little bit perplexed” to hear that President Biden is “scrambling to get his Cabinet together to try to address the fact that you have governors who are helping to relocate illegal aliens to sanctuary cities.” Oddly, DeSantis continued, Biden has not shown such urgency for other issues.

Biden did not “scramble” to get his Cabinet together, the governor said, “when we had millions of people illegally pouring across the southern border,” adding:

The meltdown over the 50 illegals flown to Martha’s Vineyard is fun to watch.

On Wednesday, Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sent two planes carrying illegal immigrants to the island of Martha’s Vineyard.

The racist white limousine liberals on Martha’s Vineyard are not happy about their new poor, brown neighbors.

Martha’s Vineyard Homeless Shelter Coordinator Lisa Belcastro melted down over the 50 illegals during an interview with the Cape Cod Times.

“The difficult challenges are — we have to, at some point in time they [illegals] have to move from here to somewhere else – we cannot, we don’t have the services to take care of 50 immigrants and we certainly don’t have housing. We’re in a housing crisis as we are on this island! We can’t house everyone here that lives here and works here!”

She continued, “We don’t have housing for 50 more people.”

Ron DeSantis has furiously slapped down a Texas sheriff who launched a criminal investigation into his flying 50 Venezuelan migrants to Martha's Vineyard.

The Florida governor pointed out the hypocrisy of Democratic Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar for probing him when it was in his jurisdiction where 50 migrants died in a trailer-tractor over the summer.

He challenged fellow politicians and voters to find similar levels of outrage at that shocking incident - as well as huge numbers of migrants drowning in the Rio Grande - as what he has been facing for his stunt.

President Biden on Tuesday responded to reports that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) was possibly sending migrants from Texas to Delaware by quipping that the governor ought to stop by himself.

“He should come visit. We have a beautiful shoreline,” Biden told reporters.

The White House said earlier on Tuesday that the administration is coordinating with state officials and local service providers in Delaware to ensure they are prepared to welcome migrant families upon their arrival.

Biden noted differences between his and the previous administration’s strategy along the southern border in defending his policies.

Newsom is ambitious and has nothing to lose.  If DeSantis declines, Newsom and Democrats will call him a coward.  He’s going to cruise to reelection this fall and brag about his Progressive and green energy policies. 

Even if he doesn’t run (Biden has to first make it clear that he’s not running in 2024), the Democrats would love any “wound” they can inflict on DeSantis to sway independent voters. 

I’m ignorant: is there precedent of a sitting governor with presidential ambitions attacking another governor years before a presidential election?
