Your arms can be sore from swimming your legs can be sore from biking just because you exercised doesn't mean you lifted weights if weights were not involved you didn't lift yesterday

By my count 20 sets of weights were lifted.

If your totals differ, I do not care.

But keep going if you're bored.

10 Min Warm up

45 Minutes legs/Chest

60 minutes of following

2 min Assault Bike
1 Chest exercise  - (cable flies, dips, DB flies, plyo pushups, etc)
1 Leg Exercise  - (DB step ups, walking lunges, SLD, DB squats, etc)

Keep repeating.

All good.

Box squats were done the louie simmons style where you use about 80-85% of 1RM and do 10 sets of two every min on min.  Lunges were weighted, as was the land mine press.

Yesterday was #nolift but constituted a 5 mile ruck in 1:01 which is decent pace with 35lbs.  You have to be careful not to run, as it places a lot of stress on your joints if you do, and can offset the benefits.

5 sets incline leg press, 4 sets leg curls, 4 sets standing calves, 3 sets seated calves

then went home because the music was getting on my nerves (forgot my MP3 player)

Yesterday was leg day: No warm up sets listed. Two work sets to failure.

Leg press 2 x 12
Squat machine 2 x 10
Dumbbell squats 1 x 12 (Dumbbells held at sides with straps. Upright back sinking my ass to grass. Not a deadlift but a squat.)
Barbell stiff dead off a block 2 x 6
leg extensions 2 x 20
seated leg curl 2 x 15

Hanging straight leg raise 1 x 25
Hip ups off the floor 1 x 30

Standing calf 2 x 15
Seated calf 2 x 15
tibialis 1 x 20 (I have a thing called a DART designed to work the tibialis that works great)

Four way neck machine 2 sets a side for 25 reps


Today the day after legs is cardio day. On a planned walking kick for two weeks before I start a running again. I will walk fast for five miles at about 3.8 MPH on a trail by my house. Might hit the heavy bag when I return depending on how my shoulders feel. Might save that for later in the week.
