Place a bar on a rack at just under hip level and with your left hand lift it in the center standing parallel to the bar and hold for as long as possible. Max weight plus time = wins.
Here's the challenge:
Opening weight = 95#
2 Min @ 95
- if you make it, you have 1min to change to 135
2 Min @ 135
- if you make it, you have 1min to change to 185
2 min @ 185
- if you make it, you have 1 min to change to 225
Max time @ 225
- If using j hooks lifter must step back from J hooks. If bar contacts rig or j hooks, your attempt is done
- If you use spotter arms instead of j hooks, bar must clearly be above arms. Like j hooks, if bar comes in contact with arms at any time once time starts the attempt is done
- no straps of any kind that secure the hand to bar may be used
- you can choose any hand you want, but that hand must be used the entire time
- chalk is allowed
- no help in changing weights is allowed
- video must clearly show weights being placed on scale for verification
- lifter must remain in video the entire time.
- a running clock must be visible in video the entire time
