Why do I have to be standing? You guys said military press I saw they had a seated military press and busted out 8 reps with 135lbs rather easy after doing heavy bench press. I never said I was going to video tape myself standing military pressing 155lbs. I said that's not a worthy challenge and it isn't. No one ever mentioned standing until after I did them seated. I may not do standing military presses but years ago I would do 3 sets of power clean and presses at the end of my workouts for fun so I know a standing 155lbs press is nothing At this point I am alwyas going to do a seated version over a standing version of anything. Dudes be cheating when they stand they bend the knees and use momentum you cant do that seated. Again I say the seated is harder

I used to do 225 x 5 at 195 lbs seated when I was 24.   155 is ZERO

You are going to get fat and have a worse FUPA.  Is that the goal?

Why do chili dogs make someone fat? Its meat bread cheese tomatoes and beans those items should be a staple of everyone's diet. Also I go through periods where my digestion is not good and I have very little appetite and I lean out whether I want to or not. When I have an appetite and digestion is good the more food the better especially when I have been lifting and I am in that anabolic window. I will never have a Fupa that's nasty that is not my world.

You didnt do that after heavy bench pressing and again I was just refamiliarizing myself with the lift and making sure I remembered correctly that 155 wasn't shit. I think if I can press 135lbs for 8 after bench I can hit 155 for more when fresh. The biggest issue was the lift off as I had not used that setup before. I also prefer dumbells and I do have some shoulder instability from 3 shoulder surgeries so no I do not try and go heavy on shoulder presses anymore.

Wait a minute WTF is wrong with venison chili dogs? Those are Hebrew National Franks fresh buns it's actually a mixed shredded cheese (multiple types of cheese) and yes homemade venison chili the venison came from a local hunter and my girl made the chili those were probably the best chili dogs I have ever had.

It's three hotdogs Hankins, I'm sure it tasted good, etc..... but let's not pretend it was the healthiest meal in the World -

I was up to 230 after my last meal of the day. I am not 230lbs empty in the morning. I would love to be 350lbs but that isn't going to happen. I am registered to compete March 4th. I would be shocked if I was not competing in the 220lb class but if I show up 230lbs that would be great. The goal is to get bigger and stronger I can always lean out that is easy it happens passively you don't have to do anythign to get lean just sit in your chair and do nothing you will get lean you have to actively eat to maintain your current size. Getting lean is easy so yeah the fatter and stronger I can get the better. When you lean out you lose the fat and keep the muscle but again I ain't fat anyway.

Are you seriously counting calories are you kidding me? What does that have to do with it being quality food all food has calories. How do the calories effect stomach issues do tell? Only fat women count calories. You train 3 hours a day and are worried about eating too many calories you are doing something wrong. Also I am eating because my stomach is not currently bothering me the heavier I get the healthier I have been for a longer time.

You are a fucking know nothing when it comes to training!!

One is a Seated Press,and the other is a Military Press......military insinuating that you should be almost standing at attention "military style" with the KNEES LOCKED while pressing to a full complete lockout beginning the press at the clavicle/upper pec area from a dead stop/start without any backbend or at least very minimal backbend.

Now listen up Mr. Mensa,class is once again in session!

The reason Seated Presses are easier is that you can push your back tightly against the pad on the press station......also,you get a lot of extra drive during the movement by pushing your feet hard against the floor when the lift  begins to become more difficult.......also as difficulty increases,you will press your back even harder against the back pad thus resulting in more stabilization.
