I did 5 sets of 10 last night. i did 5 sets last week as well I think I did 8 last week but would have to check the log it could have been 10 as well.  I like to do lower reps for my main power movement  then Higher reps to pump blood after that. I did same thing with curls low reps initial compound power movement higher reps isolations movements after same with legs low reps squats high reps extensions I have always trained everything that way. Making sure to get low rep power and high rep volume blood pump after. Usually I would do some lower rep bench g but not doing that right now.

I did the squat video mid workout I never intended to share it when asked I posted it. at the time when squatting I counted 15 it’s really not that shocking to lose count by a rep or two when you are doing higher reps. Also just because SC benched 15 reps at 225 doesn’t make his arms stronger than my legs let’s see him bench 365 exactly I was winded getting over a cold for Christ sake.

I said I was vaping a lot because I was sick the prior week at snowshoe. I came back it was my first workout and I got winded so what. I can squat 365lbs can you? I think that’s a decent squat for me and yeah I think my leg development is better than yours do you have any teardrops and regardless so  what it was a warmup not a heavy set I also had my stance off as I hadn’t squatted in a month and I adjusted before my heavier sets at 275lbs

I hear ya. You, sc and grape do some workouts that would have me in the ER FLAT LINING. I enjoy reading the back and forth between all of you as it is entertaining I just don’t get involved cause I can’t stand internet arguing. A little bit her and there but mostly stay out of it. Hankins is lean and jacked, as are you and sc, grape is prob in great shape as well. I don’t take away anyone’s accomplishments or hard work as everyone has different goals and interests. Anyways carry on gentlemen.

To be fair, SC's workouts would put us all in the hospital.

I'd have to modify training for 2 months prior to joining him, and it would still be a struggle.

Well I proved I am lean and in shape based on the prior one so no not today it’s a rest day have my son after work for the weekend won’t train again until Sunday afternoon. I will say based on my current condition I made reservations at the host hotel for a Bb show in April I am considering. I have time to cancel reservation and I didn’t register yet just thinking about it but host hotels can sell out and you want to be at it because that is where they do the tanning at 6am

Just thinking about doing the over 40 only as it’s a bigger show Pro Am and actual gets a decent turnout. Not planning to cut any weight this time maybe 5-8lbs tops as I let the digestive system empty the day prior to prevent any bloating. Would like to come in around 220 but April is a long way away will see.

Need to do a show to qualify for national or the amateur O anyway

I did a marathon ruck last week with 45 lbs no problem.   I don't train for marathons and can still do them no problem.  Its called stamina, endurance, and conditioning.

With the shape I am in I can do almost anything fitness related, rowing included.  I havent wasted years of my life doing ego and vanity bs and drugs to impress schmoes like Prime.

I haven’t seen a regional show yet where that condition would not win over 40 but regardless that is in the past. I am planning to go in fuller at 220lbs it will be more fun not being depleted and again I believe my walk around condition is good enough. I have no desire or need to diet and dehydrate and lose any size or strength my best form is when I am full and training not depleted.

SC trains for overall strength, shape, health, and to be able to do endurance events.

And he looks like a bodybuilder as well.

He has to watch what he eats and do 3 hours of cardio a day to prevent himself from getting fat for 1 and we still haven’t seen his midsection. He also gets up at 4am leaves his woman and goes and trains in a gym for 3 hours with a bunch of dudes doing bear crawls burpees and sand bag Carries.  There is a lot wrong with that.

And 3 hours of gym then an hour of bjj how often does he see his family how much energy does he have for them? I train at home half the time so I have time with mine. I feel guilty leaving them to go train in a gym. And I try not to wear myself out so I still have some energy for them.
