From where i sat at the Olympia.   Jay beat ronnie in about every pose.....especially the back shots!!!    It was exciting to think that Jay would be the champion that day.

in 2001 it was close from the fron size-wise, jay had conditioning, but ronnie had better muscle seperation.    but from the back..it was lights out all the way ronnie.    so ronnie wins it.

in 2005, it was very close size wise from the front and back, but ronnie came in with a bit less of  agut, more taper, and better muscle seperation.    ronnie wins it again.

That was the debate that sparked Jay to leave.  Somebody said he had synthol in his delts and a couple of other things made him angry enough to leave.

If you watch the videos, he has striations in his delts. Markus Ruhl's biceps however, do not.

I voiced complaints in a rational and reasonable manner.  I post under my real name and have pictures here online, get ripped on and don't let it bother me, have my contact information freely available for anyone reading, have accepted phone calls from pros who wanted to discuss stuff I wrote about them.

Do I not have a right to complain about an injustice?  If a film critic writes that a film is bad is this somehow insecure?

I think people (quite possibly yourself) don't truly understand what confidence and security means.

I shouldn't feel bad for being banned by a bunch of old guys whose probably only sanctuary from life is some internet message board where alternate opinion is disallowed.  I have a lot of things they probably lack: my youth, my hairline, ability to get with young hot women, etc.  Sounds petty but for ANYONE to take a message board as seriously as they do really speaks for their character and quality of life and not in a good way.

Jay has answered every e-mail I've ever written him.  I sent him one after the "O" last year because I thought he came off like a jackass on TV and I wanted to tell him that he lost my vote.  I told him something about trying to sell his image better when getting national exposure at such a big event.  He responded with about 3 paragraphs and kind of confided in me about what was going on backstage and with the prejudging and all that, how he thought he had it won.  I was really suprised to get such an in-depth answer, and I have never thought bad about him again.  If anybody cares to see the e-mail I can post it here.

I'll write once more and then I'll let you be, I know you are a busy man.  I guess I wasn't aware of your status after prejudging, I know that tends to be where the contest is won or lost.  And you need to know that shit-kickers like me who've hardly got one show under their belt really have no business telling you how it is.  I'm 27, work 50 hrs/week, raising two kids that aren't mine, and I think I got it tough, but It can't be anything compared to your lifestyle and commitment to your profession.  You spent the whole year preparing for one show, I can't begin to understand that kind of commitment.  My point is I hope you don't get discouraged by some idiot fans that don't support you, they have no idea.  Have you been getting flack from the fans or have they been pretty good?  I want to sincerely thank you for making me feel like I'm having a conversation with you.  It's an honor.  What are your plans?  Are you eating all the cheat foods you've been craving this week?  Are you gonna take the whole year off again or will you do the Arnold?  Once again, sorry for assuming too much and judging too quickly.  you got my support brother.

I've seen a lot of haters on the chat boards, and I don't want to sound like one.  I think you looked great, and If they insist on playing Ronnie's game, you had him beat.  Not sure I've ever seen your hams shredded like they were, and the back double bi was untouchable.  I'll keep an open mind, considering I wasn't in your shoes.  And also, these e-mails really do say a lot about you as well.  Thanks so much for the response.
