Accordia to Wikipidea, "The top two US sprinters and medal favorites in the 100 m, Rey Robinson and Eddie Hart, missed their quarter final heats after being given the wrong starting time."

The Americans were in the 200 where they were beaten by Valeriy. I remember when they missed the 100. I think it's revisionist history that there was a plot against them. At the time the runners admitted they messed up and now after all these years claim it was a plot. They had a chance at redemption in the 200 and got beat. To keep it getbig related here he is doing squats back in the day.
