That pic is sad.
The selfish human seems to be clueless to the fact that the cat is scared, confused, and doesn't want to be there. Afterwards, the kid probably told all of his friends about how much fun his cat was having at the photography studio.
I don't see what you are seeing in this photo. This cat doesn't look uncomfortable.
It has been a long time since we've had any cats around the house, but I can remember when Ralph would climb up on my lap purring like crazy and yet looking like he wanted to be anyplace but where he was. Cats are very interesting animals. As I remember, cats don't subject themselves to much they don't enjoy. If they don't want to be held, they will go crazy and scratch their way out of the situation if necessary. The cat in this photo does not look victimized at all to me.
