The patent leather plastic in a shoe is always a bad look. Real leather polished to a spit shine is always the classy choice. Wingtips are great with casual wear or a pair of dress pants with a sport jacket but oxfords is what you wear in a formal suit. Oxfords not Brogues when being formal.

Those shoes pictured are really nice. If younger men should realize that multi color clown basketball sneakers are a buffoons choice of shoe wear. GQ it up and gets some classy broads.
