Haha I wish that was reason mate, don’t get out for a drink anywhere near enough these days, just had to work past 3 o clock far too many days than I like so haven’t post as much

Even on a smaller house you can see the effort that went into the appearance of Victorian houses, modern architecture fucking sucks by comparison

It's probably several things at work. Our tastes have changed, becoming more "modern" or the time and craftmanship that those touches require drive the price point up and out of our reach. Or we would rather spend that money on bells and whistles inside and more square footage. But yes there is something to be said about old world architecture.
