I said I could do a rep and I can I already did 355 I am not pushing max efforts. My last squat workout I tested my knees way pay past parallel. And they are holding up. I am very happy with my current squatting.

I have spent the last 2 days icing a godamn bakers cyst (bulge of synovial fluid coming out the back of my left knee) from squatting on Thursday almost a week ago. I am wearing a damn brace walking around. But I will still squat again this coming weekend. Also I think my video of me squatting 355 6 weeks ago shows I am capable or at least close to being able to squat 405. However I decided to drop back down in weight and work on training for a bit before going heavy again. I do not wish to blow out my knee. I have also been doing stiff leg deadlifts working the hamstrings twice a week again training to prepare for heavy squats again. But I do not just try and max out every week.

I have not even attempted to go heavy again as I have been working on depth since everyone was just going to complain about my depth anyway and not give me proper credit when I squatted 405 so what is the point? If you don't think I am going to bury 405 I don't know what to tell you. My legs are getting stronger every damn week. I could 90 405 this week but everyone would just complain so I am burying lighter weights training instead. If I don't blow out my knee I will add actual inches to my quads by summer. So yeah just going to keep training like I said I am very happy with my squatting right now it is going great. If I wanted to do an all out max yeah I would hit 405 but that is showing strength not gaining right now I am focused on training and gaining.

This is yesterday at 7:30am as you can see I do look thin. But this is at a bodyweight of 222lbs after weighing 228lbs the night before. They do weigh ins Friday night. The best I have ever looked is close to 230lbs. If I am prepping hard eating for a couple weeks for a show I will be over 225lbs the night before. I am just cruising right now. So no I will not be a big super heavy but I want to look my best and feel good. Guys are not leaner than me on stage at local shows. I don't need to be shredded and dry I need more quad sweep that is going to come at a higher weight.

Also tired of everyone saying I weigh 180lbs I figure an NPC win as a super heavy would solve that issue

as a legal depth squat.

And at 61 i have zero pins in my knees  ;D

Now if i were 41 i'd of posted up a Video of 430lbs for 19 reps
or my 420lbs for 5 Front squats I consider them fairly reasonable lifts.

I never claimed I was squatting heavy, but everyone claimed I could not squat at all, and they are wrong. I am also 44 years old doing full mobility deep squats on 2 surgically repaired knees. I think that is great. The weight will continue to go up. I was on a cane 2 years ago unable to walk. Perspective matters

once you diet down and strip the fat down you will be about 185-195 lbs on stage.

so 180 is a fair assumption

I am 227lbs in this pic from last summer. The condition in this pic is plenty lean enough for a local show. Once I ramp up into my summer training I hope to get back and surpass this. But I think this is the best I looked and it's also close to the heaviest. The lighting I set up in the room with the backdrop isn't great. Same morning from my bathroom I looked a lot leaner.  I can add a couple pounds before summer. I am not currently supplementing or forcing food. I am training legs and back a lot more and they are getting stronger they will hold the weight

Seriously why persist with this superheavy business? What do you hope to get out of it? Suppose you enter and do fairly well , where do you go from there? I guess what im asking is what's the point? You have a good build why not be more focused on health? With your injuries- pec tear- do you expect to win?
