update. We decided to put our stuff in storage and take the plunge

A couple months ago I posted about considering either getting a cheap home base or putting our things in storage and traveling for a year or two. A lot of you weighed in with some good input. So June 1 we are out of our lease on Treasure Island and will be spending Sept. - Mar in Puerta vallarta . In between we discovered a pretty cool site where you sign up to house sit pets in exchange for staying at their homes. In the last week we are confirmed with a 10 day stay in a nice house in Windsor Park Austin , and in June and 3 week stay in a beautiful condo in Mission Bay San Francisco. As you know we love dogs and this works out for the home owners and us.
After Mexico, if things are clear in Europe we plan to spend 3 months traveling around Europe. I hope to meet up with Illuminate while we are overt here.

Sounds good man, PV is an amazing place.

Enjoy the food and wonderful landscapes.

Make sure you check out Guadalajara. It has some great Mexican culture. Not a bad drive from PV.

Aguascalientes is beautiful too, if you want a nice scenic drive. My GF has family there.

Just don't drive at night.

We have a wedding in Oaxaca in September, and a stay after that in a Secrets resort on Huatulco, We are determined to do a distillery tour of the tequila places while we are in the area.
