Are these truckers acting worse than the “peaceful” protests and takeovers we had in the states?

Very good question, Dave D.

Generally, I find that cherry-picked segments of protests are covered by the opposition, to make them look worse than they are.  That being said, I don't see ANYTHING from this trucker protest that resembles anything close to the level of damage and destruction [property damage cost $$, for example] as the BLM protests in the USA.

Freezing/seizing bank accounts is just insane to me.  And apparently, the Emergency Measures Act. allows for a lot more unconstitutional use of force by government than that.

It's pretty bad.  On the flip side - it's pretty desperate.

Exactly.  Can't come soon enough.  I feel like the West is dying, largely due to our complicit TREASONOUS government is allowing it to be.  I heard that Joe Biden let in TWO MILLION new citizens last year.  That number in Canada for 2021 was 410 THOUSAND.  Can you believe that?: 410,000 new citizens, allegedly 295,000 of whom were economically distressed people [refugees/migrants], and this happened DURING A PANDEMIC.  You can't make this up.

That Western government humbling you spoke of CANNOT come soon enough, to me.
