The azov battalion had a nazi fetish during its early years but at the start of the war there was no sign of all that insignia on them. I don't understand why they would want such insignia on flags but when it comes to what is happening on the ground, the behavior of either those in power or the soldiers I don't see blatant acts of overpowering evil, I mean its quite evil to capture unwilling men and force them to the front line but its another level of evil to mow down innocent civilians under the pretext of denazification. Are you aware how Ukrainians would be treated if Russia took over control of Kyiv? Your making a big hoopla about emblems compared to the terror Russia is inflicting every day.

I didn't mean to imply Zelensky is antisemitic, what I meant to say is that antisemites are tolerated, and indeed funded and armed, by Jews. You see it Ukraine, you see it in the ME, the US and Israel has funded al Qaeda, even way before this regime change in Syria Israel was treating wounded ISIS fighters in Israel. Incredibly Hamas itself was built up by Israel against PLO or whatever it was.
I don't I'm making excessive hoopla about the insignia, I'm merely showing the contingent is very active and relevat there. If Russian fighters had that insignia we'd never see the end of it. Ok, Russia may not treat some Ukrainians well. But Russia appears to try to avoid civilian casualties, for example strikes at Ukr military factories were conducted at night to avoid workers being there. Ukraine otoh has targeted civilians, they can't defeat the Russian army. The train attacks showed they are willing to target civilians, it's why Russia called them terrorist attacks, international law says targeting civilians is the definition of terrorism. Ukraine has jailed all oppositonal journalists and politicians, subjected them to torture (which will be contested by people like yourself I'm sure, I accept I don't have personal knowledge myself) and also elections are suspendended. Ok I accept Ukraine's amended constitution says you can't have elections in war time, but obvously Russians don't accept it, they say zelensky isn't the rightful leader of Ukraine and will not sign any agreements with him, they want NATO to underwrite those possible agreements, NATO has to assure Russia Ukraine will never be accepted into NATO and so on.
I don't absolve Russia of any horrible acts, and yes I know I'm being partial, but anyone watching has to make up their minds on who to believe. I love to have dialogue with people who disagree with me, maybe I could be persuaded to change my opinions if presented with rational arguments. I won't get into name calling, at least I haven't yet
